Last
night two crewmen found the American trying to sabotage the engines, using
makeshift tools he had crafted from the items he had stolen. Clearly he has
suffered some kind of mental damage from his experience. At least he did not
resist when we confined him and put him under watch.
While
he was caught fairly quickly, he still managed to cause some damage to our
engines. It’s not serious, but it has forced more delays on us as we fix it.
