We’ve
lost another crewmember. Teika-kun and Ogai-kun were on guard when one of the
prisoners asked if he could be let out for five minutes to stretch. The guards
agreed, and when they opened the door, they were attacked. Teika-kun was able
to close and lock the door again, but only after Ogai-kun had been dragged
inside the room. When I peeked inside later, he was sitting with the other
three, with that blank face I’ve come to dread.
Teika-kun’s
story has made the crew realize the seriousness of this situation. Several have
voiced theories on what happened to the prisoners, from them being possessed by
evil spirits to an alien invasion. Right now, I’m not concerned about what
happened to them. All I want is to get this ship into port without losing
anyone else.
